DeLo's Cafe {Name Change}

Our Company name, Sweet Street, Inc. has been changed to DeLo's Cafe.  Since the beginning of the year our family has been contemplating changing the name of our stores to be more relevant to our small family business focus.  Our family nickname is DeLo which is a shortened version of our last name.  Looking forward into the future when we expand & open more locations, we want to our stores to all relate back to our core family values.  Our former name, {Sweet Street, Inc.} was very confusing for a lot of our customers, especially new customers.  We feel our name change clarifies who we are!  We love our new name & hope you do, too!

We are happy to announce the Live.Local cards will be launched Thursday, June 21, 2012 through Michiana360.  You can purchase this card for $10 at either of our locations and they will get you a discount from DeLo's Cafe as well as many other local businesses! Happy 1st Day of Summer, although we have been feeling the heat for a while now, it is officially summer! Beat the heat with our many options to keep you cool. Ice Cream, Milk Shakes, Iced Lattes, Smoothies {Fruit & Espresso}, & Iced Coffee are refreshing choices on a hot summer day!   I mean, who doesn't love a Blue Moon Milkshake!? I know I sure do!

Tomorrow (Saturday, March 17th) is the Spring Festival at the South Bend Farmer's Market. We are proud to announce we will be ROASTING coffee beans on site for the first time ever for this festival! Customers can watch the green coffee beans roasting as they place their orders. What a neat addition to our business! We hope you will come in and check it out! It is rare to be able to watch a coffee shop roast their own beans on site.

Easter

Valentine's Day was VERY busy for us this year, just like every year! We love when our customers buy our chocolates, caramels, popcorn & candies for their sweethearts. Everyone has a unique story and it is a lot of fun to hear about romantic ideas for Valentine's Day!

Now that the romantic holiday is gone and over, it is now time to look forward to Easter!! We have lots of goodies in stock for Easter Baskets! Just to name a few: bunny gummies, bunny jujus, malted speckle eggs, cotton candy, JELLY BEANS & much much more! We can make custom made Easter Baskets for you as well! You can tell us what products you want in it and we will custom make it and wrap it up for you! On the agenda this morning was to perfect a new recipe we have been working on. We want to add a few new flavors of popcorn to our line and we think we nailed it! Cheese Pizza popcorn will be available beginning TODAY! Stop in and try a sample!!
